You're not gonna win too many games when the best offensive players are Gaustad and Mair.
I looked at the clock with about 7:30 left and the Sabres down by two.... it was under 3 minutes by the time they generated their next offensive rush. 4 ****ing minutes with ZERO offense- I don't even mean goals- I'm just talking about offensive opportunities. ****ing pathetic.
And where the **** are Roy, Connolly, Vanek and Stafford? These mother****ers disappeared down the stretch run. Roy has been invisible for the last month and the $7 million dollar man wasn't even on the ice during the most crucial parts of the game because he was basically demoted.
And what the **** is up with Lydman? There are times when he looks like a genius and absolutely shuts down great players, and then there are times when he looks like a pee wee player in his first ****ing game.
I feel bad for Gaustad, Mair and Kaleta. They're the ones who actually play like they give a damn, and they're surrounded by a bunch of guys who are technically more talented but don't have the heart to show up when it matters most.
