They were little more than a footnote at the end of the NFL's latest talent search: the undrafted.
Undrafted? Yes. Unworthy? Not in all instances.
No sooner had the two-day draft ended April 27 -- seven rounds, 262 players selected -- than teams began signing players deemed a notch below the rest.
The Colts reached quick agreement with 20, who hope to impress the coaching staff starting with next week's "summer school" sessions. A vast majority won't make it out of training camp in August. A few will....
