    Bills on the clock

    On the Clock: Buffalo Bills
    April 6, 2009 9:30 AM
    Rich Kane/US Presswire
If Penn State defensive end Aaron Maybin slips to No. 11 in the draft, you could see Buffalo taking advantage.
Posted by ESPN.com's Tim Graham Team needs: Offensive line, pass rusher, tight end.
Dream scenario: Buffalo's situation is fluid. Positional needs today might not match their wish list when the front office gathers in Orchard Park, N.Y., for the draft on April 25.
The Bills have holes on their interior line, at tight end and with their pass rush. They cut high-priced left guard Derrick Dockery and tight end Robert Royal early in free agency, but didn't replace them.
The Bills' biggest weakness on their 4-3 defense was their inability to pressure quarterbacks, especially when Pro Bowl defensive end Aaron Schobel went down with a foot injury. There was no help. They registered a paltry 24 sacks.

I have a feeling Everette Brown is going to be real good. The best G/C in round 2 and the best TE in the 3rd would make a great draft.
Should have known, way back in 1960 when we drafted Richie Lucas Number 1, that this would be a long, hard ride. But who could have known it would be THIS bad?

Which is why I expect the draft to go completely different.

As long as they read my Bills Big Board and follow it, pick #1 will work out.

(assuming they extend the dumbass prior to the draft)

Everette Brown should be the pick for the Bills at 11. We need a pass rush extremely bad. If he is gone the pick should be Brian Cushing. I think we won't get a guard until at least round 3. No TE until around that late either. I really think that the Bills first two picks will be defensive. Then the majority of the picks left will be on offensive players.

Cushing would be a reach... The Bills should consider higher talent/need ratios.

He may be a reach but so was Whitner and he is doing good enough. Cushing is the second highest rated lb in the draft. Not sure but I think he could come in and play DE on passing downs too.

I have a really bad feeling that we're going to end up drafting Pettigrew with our 1st. pick...

Depends on the rankings, I dont have him as the #2 OLB.

Whitner was a huge bust. The guy just sits on facebook all day posting videos *****ing about how many facebook friends he has.
