I don't want to get rid of Peters and I'm sure that most of the other posters on this board don't want to see him go but if you have even an ounce of common sense in you with two weeks left before the draft and no contract extension in hand...he's getting traded.

How quickly we forget about last year! I suppose you'd rather wait until June to find out that he will hold out again and F up another season for us at LT? What are you planning on trading him then for a 2010 draft pick and end up with Bell at LT or maybe we could play ignorant tough front office and let him pout and sit out to protest the season?

Smart move is to get the most for him now and avoid the media circus and BS. Move on and fill the vacancy! Get a 1st and 3rd for an undrafted rookie!

27 year old starting LT who has made two consecutive Pro Bowls, the later being voted in by the coaches and players. They don't grow on trees. The guy wants out of Buffalo, hence his lack of effort during the offseason.

I don't necessarily believe we can get two first rounders for him but Denver did for Cutler.

Peters and Cutler are both 2 of the same. Both are top 5 in there position. Both are the most neediest positions in the NFL. Both demand alot of money. Cutler got traded for a 5th, and Cutler for 3rd, 2 1sts, and Orton. Peters is at least worth 2 1sts if we throw in a 5th.

Cutler is a QB. Peters is not. In the NFL, QBs are still more highly valued than LTs.

1) Please explain how Cutler got traded for a 5th, AND cutler got traded for 3rd, 1sts and Orton.

2) AT LEAST 2 1st's? I love how this becomes real because we throw in the ever-valuable 5th rounder. This scenario doesnt even work in Madden. Im not making fun of YOU for that, bc I am an avid Madden fan myself, I'm just saying that 2 first rounders PLUS some is crazy enough that it wouldnt work in madden, and madden is crazy.
