Couple of Scrubs to visit OBD

    KFFL says...

Jeff Chilcoat, of Sterling Sports Management, reports the Buffalo Bills are scheduled to meet with unrestricted free-agent OT Anthony Davis (Rams) next week.

Jeff Chilcoat, of Sterling Sports Management, reports the Buffalo Bills are scheduled to meet with unrestricted free-agent TE Richard Owens (Rams) Thursday, April 16.

Fair enough good point so that means what bring in as many back ups as we can and hopefully hit pay dirt with one of them not saying we need a huge signing but this is just silly to me.

Yes but he was young enough to get better. The OT hasn't started a game since 06.

You can sign a player that has some NFL experience or leave a spot for UDFA.........there aren't any superstars still available in FA to improve the team. So it's important for the Bills to look down all paths to find players who can help the team. None of these players will cost much money and if they don't pan out, will result in little or no expense in "cash to cap" or impact on the salary cap. Every team has a number of players like this

Yes but some teams have more players like this than others. The Bills are one of those teams.

Davis used to be the starting LT for the Bucs a few years back.

It's called camp fodder and we always need a bunch of these guys to get reps at camp and give the starters more of a break.

that's true. he may not be starter material anymore but a veteran backup would be nice if he has anything left.

Young enough to get better? Fred Jackson is only 3 months younger than Owens and 11 months younger than Davis!
