    Aaron Curry

Joining Aaron Curry's mother, fiancee and siblings at his draft table on April 25 will be Bryson Merriweather, the Madison, Ala., boy who is determined to play football again -- and get more people to be bone marrow donors.

Everything I read about this kid makes me want the Bills to draft him really badly. It's too bad there's almost no way he falls to us. Not only is he a great overall player, everything I see has convinced me that he's a great guy, too. High-character and hard worker.

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. I know there's been a lot of arguing back and forth and I think we could all use a good story at this point. It is the offseason.

Mods can move this if they want to, but I know more people would see it if it were here instead of the scout zone.

Best player in the draft, but as you mention, the Bills have no shot at getting him.

You can drop "almost" from that post.

He won't be there. He's top 5 at WORST, and about 9 of the 12 teams above us would take him in a heartbeat if he were still there.

EDIT: you know what... you can leave almost. He could always rape someone or get busted selling coke in the next few days. This IS the NFL after all. Even though by most accounts, e's a good egg, nothing surprises me with NFL players anymore.

and not get a quality OT to replace Peters

We trade Peters OT becomes the target and Curry is still left behind. OT trumps LB especially at top 3 draft pick money

Have him hang around Hardy, Lynch and Whitner...

This team has too many holes to trade multiple players for the right to draft Curry.

We could have him. Trade Peter and our # 1 for thier #1 and thier second.

I mean we have so many holes that there is NO WAY that we will be competitive this year... so might as while take a freak of nature and maybe try to get good next year.

A 1 and 2 may be too much to ask...
                        Rams #1 = 2600
                        Chiefs #1 = 2200
                        Seahawks #1 = 1800
                        Bills #1 = 1250

                        Assuming Peters is worth the Eagles #1 (20) & #3 = 850 + 170 = 1020... plus our #1 (1250) = 2270 total value

Plus or minus residual picks, 2270 gives us enough points...
                        1) To deal straight up with the Chiefs #1 (2200)
                        -or-
                        2) To take the Seahawks #1 & #2 (2340).

I don't think Curry gets past the Chiefs.
