ROUND 1

10(10) 49ers - QB Mark Sanchez, USC
11(11) Bills -

Yep.....Cushing. Which is fine because pass rush isn't generated from just the DE"s.

Now, in rd 2 I was lucky because the Bills pick was the 1st pick in the next block of proxies. So this is what I see:

No trading during draft. All moves had to completed prior to draft. We could trade one player but I stated that Peters was re-signed to an extension. I put Parrish, Youboty, McGee, and McCargo on the block....no takers. No one offered me anything to move up to #11 either. So I'm stuck with 7 picks in the original drafting positions.

Guard - Duke Robinson of Oklahoma would probably be your pick.

I'm torn between him, Levitre of Oregon St. or G/C Eric Wood of Louisville. Robinson scares me because he has the talent but reportedly gets lazy and doesn't want to put in the work... where as the other 2 will play to the whistle every play.

There are several guys that were drafted in the 12-20 range I would rather have over Cushing... but to each his own.

Cushing has a 'Roids question hanging over his head and has missed too much time due to injuries. I Know NFL Network has been showing an ongoing diary of the guy working out but I'm not sure about him. I'll support him or anyone if picked but color me very skeptical of his true worth.

In this defense the pass rush is dependent on the front 4. Not the LBs.

You passed on Lawrence Sidbury? Yikes. He would have been a steal at 42. I like the Vaughn pick. The Bills actually had him in Buffalo for a workout.

I think there is no way Beatty is there in R2. After the Combine, I have seen him as high as No13
