<!-- end mod-article-title --> <!-- begin story body --> ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- [URL="http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=buf"]Buffalo Bills (http://myespn.go.com/conversation/story?id=4070567) assistant Bobby April is the NFL special teams coach of the year after a vote by his peers.
April earned the honor -- his second in four seasons -- at an awards ceremony in Reno, Nev., on Tuesday night. In his fifth season in Buffalo, April's special teams finished in the top 10 in four categories, including a league-leading 15.5 yards per punt return.
The Bills special teams scored three touchdowns, including punter Brian Moorman (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=2797)'s pass to defensive end Ryan Denney (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=3589) on a fake field-goal attempt.
