As I've stated publicly many times, Dick Jauron was the one who initiated the T.O. signing. He wanted T.O. first and went to the organization about it.

Where Mort ever got the "it was forced on Dick" I'll never know, but it is not true at all.

Either he has some really bad sources he got the info from, or the Bills told him that after the fact to protect Jauron, or he just assumed something and reported it as fact in order to have a story no one else did, even though it was baseless.

Gruden tells it like it is.
