    Draft Day Festivites

Now that I decided to stay home for the draft (the "boss" said so), what are you all doing for the big weekend?

I am having a bunch of buddies over to cook out, drink beer, and watch the draft on the 52 inch plasma in HD.

Post what your plans are and also what station you will be watching. ESPN or NFLN?

I'll break out one of my Bills Jersey's get my 6 draft guides and random draft notes together. I'll be making pulled barbecue pork sandwiches and chicken wings and of course drink beer.:)

I guess I'll just have to break out my NEW T.O. jersey. Yep, my sisters got it for me for my birthday on Tuesday!

Both...I like to flip back and forth to get both sides.

I usually watch ESPN and then tape NFLN to get their reaction

I'm gonna watch both at the same time. One on TV ESPN and the other on the NFL network on the net.

Saturday I'll be home switching between NFLN and ESPN

Sunday I will be heading to Atlanta for my Springsteen concert (will probably catch some draft on TV at the hotel before the show)

and btw, I'll probably watch on NFLN. Berman is the only thing I like about ESPN.

That sucks. Was looking forward to your experience at the draft this year.

I know, I'm disappointed too. The ol' lady doesn't want me going up Friday night and waiting in line all night and sleeping in line. I guess people start getting in line around 9pm on Friday night. I think the draft only starts at 4pm on Saturday. Did anyone else hear that?

It varies for me year-to-year. A bunch of us used to go to the ESPN Zone every year at the open and party it up all day/night for the draft and hockey playoffs. Since, it's been one year out, one year at home etc, but always the event. This year I will have folks over at my place and we'll cook out early, or order pizza's later - depending on when people show up. I always have beer and booze at the house and my wife and kids know that this is one of the few days a year I am completely relieved of responsibility. While home I flip back and forth btw the two networks.
