Draft weekend has always been a favorite of mine. After spending numerous hours researching players and team needs, there is nothing better than watching the draft unfold. Truly, teams can build or harm their future based on the selections they make at the NFL draft. This draft was very special to me as I had the opportunity to be at Rams Park with all the other members of the media throughout the weekend. I would like to give special thanks to Barry Waller, Duane Lewis, and Chris Hordel for making that possible.
After the roller coaster ride in the first round, things seem to settle in and before we all new it the picks were made and Ryan Hoag from Gutavus Adolphus was named Mr. Irrelevant. It was an extremely organized and informative weekend for me, and I walked away feeling that the Ram's did three major things in this draft.
