    3 of the top 42

    We will land 3 out of the top 42 players in this year's draft. We can definitely address our needs with those picks. In essence, these picks will be starters for us.

    I think we go:

    1. DE or OLB
    1. Pettigrew if there (doubtful), best rated OL (Mack, Unger, Wood, Robinson)
    2. Whatever we didn't address with first 2 (DE, OLB, OL, TE)

    1. maybin or ayers for DE
    1. Duke Robinson LG
    2. Cook TE
    that would be sweet
    keep in mind i like d. bell starting at LT

      We have 3 of the top 42 picks.

      Rest assured, we will NOT grab 3 of the top 42 players in the draft. This FO will screw up at least one of those picks, if not all 3.

        You're absolutely right... I guarantee with one of the first round picks we take someone that is a reach or a non-need position...

          Here's what I hope happens:

          11: Robert Ayers or Brandon Pettigrew

          28: Unger or Mack

          42: Pass Rushing DE if we took Pettigrew or Pass-Catching TE if we took Ayers

          As mad as I am now that would at least talk me off the ledge.

              you mean fill an obvious hole with the best available player? Sorry, we already did that with Owens and the Bills are only allowed to do that once every 5 years.

                i'd like to see them get out of the #11 spot by trading down to get an extra 2nd or trade up to get a difference maker.

                  I hope we dont address the DE spot after rd 2 so sick of developing DE ie Ellis Kelsay Denny were stacked with backup DE if we go that way make it early no later than 42 and that maybe a little late.
