Some people think Britten is a natural right tackle. This guy calls him a left tackle. What do you think, Sal?

BTW here are a couple more post trade mocks.

In my opinion the guy who does this second mock is a complete idiot, but it is post trade.

Would the niners take a tackle? Dont they have Jonas Jennings and didnt they draft a tackle last year early?

The Niners cut Jennings.

Having Jonas Jennings is the reason they need a tackle ... he sucks

He doesn't suck at all, he's just always hurt.

I think he's a natural RT who is smart and athletic enough to move to the left side without a problem. Maybe not LT right away in the NFL, though.

I like the 1st one. Deffinitly upgrade after trading Peters. Just doesnt help the need at DE,OLB, TE.

I'd rather not get Maybin, personally.

That second draft posted by TigerJ...how can they be so up-to-date as to include the Bills trade...but not up-to-date enough to realize that Greg Hardy won't be in this draft? They have him going in the second round. And they have the Bills picking...Knowshon Moreno. Would be great value there, but not even close to a need now.

Britton at 28 would be fantastic. John Fina Part Deux anyone?

I could live with the first one (posted by Coach Sal)...with one exception: I would not pass on taking Caldwell the C/G from Alabama for an OLB in the 3rd round.

That being said, I doubt that the Bills would take Cook, a TE, over Mack, the center from Cal, in Round Two--although I doubt that, in reality, Mack will still be on the board there. The Bills really like Mack and knew that they had to do something to shore up the interior of the offensive line before they traded Peters. I don't see them passing up a chance to do that with a player that they particularly like and wouldn't expect to see still available at that spot to take a tight end. Given the depth of the TE class and their apparent distain for pass catching TEs, I think that they would conclude that they could wait until Round 3 for a TE if this were to be the situation when they pick in Round 2.

Maybin and Britton in Round 1 would be acceptable though I would prefer Everette Brown followed by William Beatty - I think the mocker at DraftAces has undervalued Beatty. Not sure about Cook in R2 or Cody Brown in R3 - I think we need a more rounded TE who can block better, and a more traditional LB not a OLB/DE hybrid. I wouldn't throw the team under the bus if this were to happen though.

Saturdays2Sundays is an AWFUL mock. Andre Smith has the biggest bust label of anyone in the draft. For all his talent, he doesn't want it. He is overweight, a non-team player, cannot be bothered to perform at the combine or pro-day ... it would be a terrible choice. I don't see the need to draft Mack, Jared Cook is not versatible enough, and we need Defensive Ends not Defensive Tackles. A very poor mock.

With Draft Specialist, I could understand the Jenkins move to FS for the Bills, but assume Moreno to fall, and that we'd take a RB on Day 1, then again go after another DT ... a mock which is shocking.

Personally I would want to go

#11 Brown
#28 Beatty
#42 Gilbert
#75 Freeman

as I think we could get Kraig Urbik in the 4th and sleeper TE Dan Gronkowski in the 5th

Depending how everything falls...

11. Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee, Andre Smith, OT, Alabama, or Malcolm Jenkins, CB/FS, Ohio State

28 . Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee or Brian Cushing, OLB, or USC Alex Mack, OC, Cal

42. Max Unger, C/G, Oregon, Duke Robinson, G, Oklahoma, Michael Johnson, DE, Georgia Tech

75. Marcus Freeman, LB, Ohio State, or Tyrone McKenzie, OLB, South Florida or Javon Ringer, RB, Michigan State

110. Chase Coffman, TE, Missouri or Kraig Urbik, G, Wisconsin

147: James Davis, RB, Clemson or Antone Smith, RB, Florida State

153/157/159: Augustus Parrish, OT, Kent State

It seems like everyone and there brother thinks Cook (TE) is as good as a Bill already. I kind of like the first mock. I could live with that.

I say we go Defensive with the 11th pick and use the 28th and some of our other picks to deal and trade up. If Langston can thrive at LT (Like he did at the beginning of the season) What's the draft stock for a RT?

Maybin is garbage and will be a bust
