I second Sabz...

Alex Mack.

It just makes way too much sense for us to do it, though.

It will either be a OT like Beatty or Britton depending what we might look to do at #42 (Meredith or Cadogan) or a defensive player, maybe Laurinitas if he has not been selected.

28 . Robert Ayers, DE, Tennessee or Brian Cushing, OLB, or USC Alex Mack, OC, Cal

If the Bills go OLB @ 28 they will go C/G @ 42.

42. Max Unger, C/G, Oregon, Duke Robinson, G, Oklahoma, Michael Johnson, DE, Georgia Tech

I could also deal with Unger at 42, if we don't go Mack at 28.

Duke Robinson would be a nice pickup at 42 if we get Mack at 28.

Unger or Mack

that would be a nice combo. throw in Oher at #11 and the OL is set for the future.

I like all of your guys picks, but this is the bills so we will take something we absolutely don't need like Percy Harvin.

Whether we agree on the names or not, the OL early is never bad thinking.

I also like the LB Clint Sintim thought.

Trade it. With their track record of drafting lately, it would be the best option.

I want Alex Mack, but either him or max unger should be there with our 2nd rd pick too

Mack

I seriously want him on our team more than any OT or any DE

You'll take Mack or Stintim with the 28th couldnt go wrong with either one, although I was hoping Stintim would fall to the Fins at 44.

Clint Sintim or Jared Cook would be fine with me....

I want Mack, because he is the type of center I would want leading our o-line. He is smart. He will be able to pick up stunts and blitzes really well. Call for double teams against the NT when need-be. Im sure he could hold his own vs. the 3-4 as well. I just feel really good about him. but the Bills are too stupid to move Hangnarter to guard and draft a center who would lead this team for years.

I would have to imagine the Bills would take him if he got to 42...you guys only pick two spots after us in the second? Is that from a trade?

I really don't think Mack would be the pick, unless the Bills think he can be just as good at OG. Seems to me they believe Hangartner is their center, period. I don't know why they'd sign him for four years if he's only going to be mentoring someone from this draft...who will probably also only be signed for 4-5 years. Doesn't make much sense to me.

My second guess would be OT William Beatty.
Sintim's not a bad choice if we take Oher with pick #11 another guy to remember is Larry English.

Hangartner can play guard. The Bills didn't have the 28th pick when they signed him. He's making 2.5 a year, that's not a major commitment.
You don't pass on a player like Mack for Geoff friggin Hangartner. That's insane. Which means the Bills will likely do just that.

my prediction is that whoever the Bills pick won't stay on the team past his 5 year contract because he'll either get cut for sucking or go to another team because the Bills refuse to pay him.

The Bills are taking Cook at #28. I'd almost bet money on it. I think the Bills factored that into their trade with Peters.

I think fans have forgotten that we really need to upgrade at WLB.

This is at least a big a need as TE - whilst there are several TEs lower in the draft and we can grab an OT like Meredith or Cadogan or a G like Robinson or Unger probably with our second round pick, the drop off at LB looks to be steep.

I am not sure that either Simtim or English could come in and immediately start at WLB and I'd rather not swap Mitchell over so I think the two guys we could be looking at are Brian Cushing, or James Laurinaitis.

Both can play at WLB and in fact I think Laurinaitis coverage skills would make him an excellent pick.

Mitchell/Poslusny/Laurinaitis automatically becomes one of the best trios in the league.
