What's the deal with the draft not starting until 4:00 PM next week?

Are they only doing the first round Saturday? How many minutes between picks for the first round? I know they shortened it some last year, but can't recall the details. I haven't been able to find the draft details on ESPN nor NFL.com, but admit I only only did a half-assed search.

First two rounds...15 minutes per in the first round and 10 minutes in the second.

Actually, they decreased the number of minutes per team in the first and second rounds. Teams only have 10 minutes in the first round, and 7 minutes in the second. Then 5 minutes in every round thereafter.

Because they knew I was having some fam over earlier in the day for the grand opening of my newly renovated crib! They didn't want to interrupt us!
