    Parrish Rumor

Take it for what its worth, but I was told today that the Bills have received some calls inquiring about Roscoe from a few teams. The first information is that the Chiefs are one, and that Minnesota may have called but that has yet to be verified by a team source. Raiders may be interested but are not listed as having called the Bills yet. However, the Bills source said that "Buffalo really isn't close to making a deal for Roscoe. However the asking price may be a fourth, or a fourth and a seventh."

Reading between the lines and listening in on the rumor report this morning, I think Roscoe to KC looks good. However, the fact that there has been no solid offers for Parrish makes me think maybe the interest in the WR may be being leaked by his agent. That happens a lot in this business.

Take it for what its worth.

They better hurry up if they're going to get something done...

UPDATE THANKS TO NightHawk: Redskins a team Bills are talking to.

Thanks BillsWin. I really hope the Bills could put Parrish together in a package with a pick or so for Waters or even Gonzalez. That, imo, would be ideal.

roscoe is such a nonfactor on the bills being a playoff team and not being a playoff team. i don't care one way or the other. it would be ideal if we could keep him for week 1 and his punt return touchdown, but then move him in week 2 where he starts his long battle between underused and not smart enough to be on the field debate.

If we did that, we essentially traded Peters for a 33 year old TE and a 32 year old LG.

Parrish for a 3rd which I would take in a heart beat.

Clayton just said on ESPN Radio that it looks like the Bills may be getting close to trading Parrish to the Redskins. He said that he knows the Bills want a 4th rounder for him, but doesn't know if they'd get it. I say they will.

they must have been the other team. I left alittle after I posted this thread so I missed any new news on the topic. I would like that if we could get a 4th.

                      Sigh...

One of my favorite players on the team, and knowing that he might be gone sucks.

Remember when Troy Vincent went to pick him up and said Roscoe was afraid of snow? Best of luck to him if he's gone, if he sticks around? Get more of the 'sco! Also, I see that as us definitley inking Freddy J to a long term deal, for punt return duties
                      Bye Bye Brady...

                        no not a good value.

Gonzo is worth a bills third at best as it is a high third.

Parris for that guard straight up...or Gonzo for a third or parish for a fourth.

Fred Jackson averaged 16.6 YPR (albeit on 7 punts) last year, compared to 15.3 for Roscoe. So the Bills might not be that bad off. But Jackson would have to prove he can sustain that level over more punts.

I love Roscoe, but he gets paid too much to be way down the WR depth chart. Since we can't figure out how to use him, we might as well trade him.

                              Delusions of grandeur...

Parrish is a gimmick player with only one true value to an NFL team - return duty.

At best, he's worth a 5th round pick.
