Would anyone honestly be angry if we went DE, LB, DT first 3 picks? I sure as hell wouldn't. A championship front 7 and an ok O-Line is better than the other way around IMO.

Ayers, Matthews (trade up w/ extra 4th), and Robinson would be a dream. I'm okay with Walker/Chambers/Bell at T and we can even choose another prospect in round 3 or 4 if we want it.

Ayers cannot sack the QB - the most he's ever had in a season is 4.
Rumour has Matthews going to the Texans so we'd need much more than a 4th to move up.

I'd trade down with the Broncos, swapping picks for Scheffler TE
I'd draft Everette Brown DE #18, Laurinitas LB #28, Cadogan LG #42, and Martin FS #75

We can easily pick up another interior lineman like Kraig Urbik in the 4th.

As for TJ Lang, I have looked him up in detail, and most scouts say he cannot play LT in the league - he doesn't have the agility and his arms are one of the shortest.

I've seen him as low as 23 and going to the Pats.

The feeling is that after us, the next 7 teams don't have a need for a DE or DE/OLB or have greater priorities in R1.

Here's a mildly annoying thought. They could theoretically draft a WR in the first round. TO's only in town for 1 year. Now Parrish is on the trading block. . .
