I'll do a 2 rd mock on Saturday using the latest info but this is what I would like to see this coming weekend:

I'm also going to say that "where there's smoke, there's fire".....Parrish will be traded by the weekend (#75 and WR Parrish to Pitt for #64 and #121 and 2010 cond pick to Denver for TE Scheffler)

1,11 - DE Robert Ayers (Tennessee)
1,28 - LB Clint Sintim (Virginia)
2,42 - G Andy Levitre (Oregon St)
2,64 - T Gerald Cadogan (Penn St)
4,110 - DT Corvey Irvin (Georgia)
5,147 - SS Courtney Greene (Rutgers)
6,183 - CB Domonique Johnson (Jackson St)
7,220 - WR Jaison Williams (Oregon)

Why would we give Parrish, the #75 and the #121 to the Steelers for only the #64 pick?

I don't think Ayers has enough sacks (3.5 only) to be reached for at 11, and I don't think Cadogan will fall as far as #64 in the draft because the Pats will grab him as Light is in a contract year.

If we can trade Parrish for a 4th rounder, then I would send that to the Broncos. Scheffler is in a contract year, and if we choose not to resign him, then I don't want to waste picks helping to draft his replacement in next years draft.

My mock draft.

#11 Everette Brown LE
#28 James Laurinaitis WLB
#42 Gerald Cadogan LT
#75 Sherrod Martin FS
#110 Kraig Urbik OG
#121 Dan Gronkowski TE
#147 Vaughn Martin DT
#183 Tony Fiammatta FB
#220 Drew Willy QB

I think we don't get enough for Parrish there .... he is one of the best returners in the league after all. I think a late 3rd or a 4th rounder would be required. We could then ship that to the Broncos for Scheffler, but I want our 2010 draft picks left alone.

It would likely take a 4th to move from #64 to #75

Why are you taking a CB/FS?

I see the need for a FS, but I'd rather have someone who played the position in college rather than someone playing the position because he was too slow to be drafted in his college position.

I see the need for a RB, because I think Lynch won't be able to help himself, but I see that RB being James Starks taken in R3 of the 2010 draft.

Why are we taking a RB again?

Lynch one more run in with the law away from longer suspension.
Jackson not signed.
Rhodes injury prone.
Depth.

Why are you taking a CB/FS?

Bills need a safety, also insurance in case McGee leaves next year.

I could have sworn Jackson is signed.

Bills need a safety, also insurance in case McGee leaves next year.

I think Sherrod Martin of Troy State can easily fulfil that role. If McGee left we'd have a pairing of Youboty/McKelvin supported by Corner. Martin has also played CB and is bigger/faster than Jenkins

At Safety, if Simpson goes we can slide Whitner over or keep Whitner at SS and use Martin as FS

I understand your thinking, but I don't see it as our biggest concern. We've previously tried to build the defence from the back to front but I'd rather approach it from the other way around.

I believe your draft is excellent. Unfortunatley the Bills make mysterious selections and I don't think it's going to work out that way. Actually it's the best I've seen.

Sintim doesn't make much sense in our Defense. He is an attack OLB suited for a 3-4 team. In college he played in Virginia's 3-4. He is not great in coverage or covering in space.

The only purpose Sintim would serve our D is as a DE. Although I dont mind taking 2 DEs with our first 2 picks.

I could have sworn Jackson is signed.Jackson is an exclusive rights free agent. He was tendered, I believe, but has not signed his tender and making noise like he wants a long term deal for a lot more than the Bills offered.

but moving up 11 spots costs us a valuable 3rd pick and Parrish.. That is a horrible trade IMO

I really fail to see how we would gain much of anything to make this team better with this particular deal.

Puts us in a better position to grab the guy we want.
