All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
No...too many needs, and too much value later on in the draft. There will be a lot of players at 28 who could fill immediate needs, whether it's at OLB, DE, OG, OT...I'd rather get a player at 11 and a player at 28.

definately not. curry should be good, but there will be a lot of good line backers from this draft and especially in our system, the cover 2 linebacker is a lot easier to fill for us. Clay Matthews is actually one of the best cover 2 linebackers in this draft due to his pass rushing and coverage skills. he would be 100% perfect for our weak side spot. Freeman from Ohio state would also be great.
there are several options later too. Sintim would be a good Strong side option in round 2, and maybe (slim chance) that he could be had in round 3.

Still would have a 2nd, a third and two fourths to land some big bodies on the OL and DE.
I would seriously consider it. Curry is the closest thing to a sure-fire superstar in this draft.
I have no doubt that we could still find some serious OL talent in the 2-4 rounds. My concern is that we'd miss out on the opportunity to find someone who would add immediate help to our pass rush--probably our most glaring need.
Wake up, brush your teeth, and get ready for a day of hating the Dolphins. Or the Pats? How to choose?
I would consider it if our 2 biggest needs werent DE and LT, with WLB being 3rd biggest need. LT right now is our #1 priority since we dont even have one worth starting.
i've been away from the net for what seems like forever now. few months..
--Pat, don't let me find out your wanting Pettigrew!
-from Vernon Davis, to Olson to...----
---This is a great draft to ignore TE in the 1st. I think most Zoners will agree on that. Esp since it seems like most Zoners are all grows up & wanting skilled positions with our day-1 picks...WOOOT!
