Im thinking because he was a half-way decent starter at one point that we get atleast a 5th for him... I could be have put to much value on him to

Your last choice should say "Nothing, but he's worth millions!"

Lol, I was going to put a smart remark like that but, just thought I'd keep things serious

a conditional 7th in 2010....

the dude is a marginal starter who on most other teams would be a backup. I would personally rather hope we start Scott at SS and Whitner at FS anyways, as I dont see us getting a safety anywhere near worth starting in this draft, at least worth starting this year.

I shouldnt have even put 1st, 2nd or 3rd as options... lol

Heh, like I said in the other thread,

Don't you know who I am? I'm Ko Simpson! I'm worth a 2013 7th round pick!

Buffalo loves those Buckeyes... you never know, they could end up taking Jenkins, if he somehow ended falling to 28

So sad... he seemed like the real deal his rookie season.

you never know, but isnt he a CB? I do remember them saying he could make the transition though

He is, but many believe he will need to move to FS to play in the NFL. Good player, I'm just not interested in drafting another CB/FS in the 1st. Address the DL/OLB/OL and then worry about that position later in the draft.

Jenkins is to slow to play CB in the NFL IMHO

My guess is nothing. They'll wind up cutting him.

Likeliest scenario imho. We may get lucky and get a 6th or 7th for him. Anything above that, and we have made out handsomely.

I do not see how he has any value. He has not been the same since he broke his leg. Any rookie can come in and play as good as him. I can see him out of the league by 2010.

My best hope is that he further recovers from his broken ankle (which are very serious and take a long time to fully heal, if ever) and once again becomes a productive player for us. I can't see us getting enough for him to make a trade worthwhile.

It would seem wiser to bring him to camp, evaluate his progress, and then make a decision.

I'm not optimistic that he's going to fetch mich value in the trade market. The Bills are shopping him because his lack of intelligence is too much of a liability at his position and they expect to get rid of him. If they can get something for him, fine. If not, I expect he won't make it on the final roster in September anyway.

He will NEVER, EVER live that one down in Buffalo. It's the first thing I think about when I hear his name.

To answer the question, I don't see anybody trading for Ko Simpson. On the outside chance they do, we will get so little for him that it won't even matter.

Does anybody know what Ko Simpson's current contract looks like?

Nothing. He isn't worth anything. You would have to package him and another player to get anything in return. I bet you would have to package him, Roscoe and Kelsay to get a fourth rounder.

That is a bit extreme but I agree he isn't worth much.
