What time will they pick when they're on the clock?

I am pretty sure there is ten minutes alloted per pick this year.

So figure pick one around 5:30 or so and pick two around 7-7:30.

Of course, that can all change if the Bills or anybody else makes trades.

They changed it for this year to make the draft go faster. I think the first two rounds alone were over 8 hours last year. It's ten minutes for the first round, seven for the second.

Bills should be on the clock around 5 or 530. Somewhere in that range.

Probably for people on Pacific time. They won't have to start watching it at 9 a.m. that way.

Yep. The thing is, teams really shouldn't need that much time unless they're legitimately working out trades. From the sounds of it, most teams simply used all their time trying and hoping for a trade, when it wasn't likely to begin with. At this point, while there may be surprise picks here and there, teams should be ready for any eventuality. Even if they only had 4 minutes for the first round, they should be able to get the pick in on time.

But that's what I loved about living on the west coast. I could go to the bar at 1000, get breakfast, a pitcher of beer, and watch football all day. No more staying up late to watch MNF because it was over by 9pm.

well why the hell does the draft have to start so late then? Couldn't we have compromised and put it on at 2 for the EC and 11 am for the WC? It's not like they were trying to start at 9 am so the WC people had to be up at 6 am.

They also want the draft to be in primetime for the EC. More money that way.

There has been talk of moving the 1st round to Friday night in primetime (say start it at 6 or 7).

It is all about the Benjamins!

The later start time gives the left coasters time to go to yoga class, roll their sushi, and chill the pinot grigio.

All we have to do back here is crack a beer and open a bag of potato chips.
