If the Bills stay at #11

They will be drafting Brandon Pettigrew.

Some of you guys need to warm up to the idea.

Chances are he will be best player available at #11.

He can come in and play immediately... and he will be on the field all 3 downs.

    He's the perfect fit.

then we better trade back 1st... This in not happening. Any of OL avaialble at #11 would be a better vlaue then Pettgrew, numeorus LB's and DE's will also be a BPA over pettigew at #11

Re: If the Bills stay at #11

It will be an absolutely lousy and appalling draft if that happens.

Pettigrew is simply overrated. We get a slow TE of marginal strength when we need to improve the pass rush and protect the QB.

This will be a pick of April Fool proportions.

Pettigrew is simply not the best player available at No11. There are Ends, OL, LBs, DB and even RBs who will represent better value than Pettigrew.

It will take a long time for the booing to subside if this pick is announced at #11

Most "experts" in the country have him rated as a top 10 talent.

Season tickets might be up, but fans will be asking for refunds in their thousands if this Front Office make such an appalling error.

Nobody prior to No20 would want him - stupid stupid choice.

Link - because I have not seen him in hardly any mock drafts in the Top20 let alone the Top10

I am tired of defending against TE love fest when we are still so removed from being a playoff team...
-DE,,LB,,Tackle,CB,QB,RB,WR etc etc are skilled positions.. TE isn't. So as long as we have skilled needs then we can't afford to draft a luxery position...
--i misht warm up to it @ 28 if he we're available, but the idea of getting a slider like Everett Brown,Maybin,Other,Larry English, etc etc etc are the more responsible thing to do..I agree 1005 though that it's not the Fan-Favorite thing to do. Not this fan though..
---Your allowed to have a opinion and a voice to carry it. I don't mind & won't flame. But i do wanna share why i disagree..That's all brother...

For this is what they said about Pettigrew after the combine:

"For the supposed No1 Tight end, he didn't look like it ... he ran a horrendous 4.85 and only came up with 22 reps. Basically he didn't do anything special"

                    And a scouting report:

"Doesn't always play up to his talent. Too many skills to not be dominant all the time" - if he cannot be dominant at college level !!!

                    "Not a field stretcher"

Great, the Bills draft a lazy guy who couldn't even find the red zone last year.

Turn on ESPN and look at KIPER's Best Available that keeps scrolling... he's #7.

                      Here's a another:

NFLDraftCountdown.com says we could pick him at #11.

Mike Mayock said he would love for Buffalo to Grab Pettigrew.

It would be a desperately sad day if we waste this pick at #11, because with so many needs, and with depth at TE on Day2 and plenty of starting potential there, Pettigrew at #11 will be monumental waste of pick for a guy with zero speed, who doesn't play up to his ability.

Hell, if Jermaine Gresham had come out, he wouldn't even be the No1 TE in the draft.

NFL Draftcountdown have him going at #28 in their mock ... why do you want someone possibly available at #28 taken at #11 especially as he is not a core need?

Actually I find plenty of comments about guys who are being underestimated where it is said they make the most of their abilities and never take plays off.
