    Interesting through V-Text

Notice to anyone who receives V-Text, it says the Bills have selected LB Aaron Maybin.

    Intersting to anyone else?

I hope they intend to use him as a LB who they put into pass rushing situations. He should easily displace Ellison

but honestly I do not know enough about Maybins ability to become a 4-3 OLB

I just do not believe he can be an every down DE this year, so we basically picked a part time DE now and a future full time DE IMO if he stays at DE

Very true. When I watched him at PSU, he can stop the run, but at about where the LB'ers are. His 40 time is nowhere near how fast he actually is (think he was clocked at a 4.78?), he's got a ridiculous first step and if you can line him up next to the LE at OLB, it's either going to make Kelsay look really good or put the Maybin naysayers to rest.

            I saw that too.

I am not sure about his cover ability.

that is the question right there... does he have enough skills ot play 4-3 OLB

but Maybin at OLB has potential, and then bring him in as a pass rush specialist on obvious passing downs ???????????????

If the BIlls draft another DE today then the LB thoughts must be true IMO

his size is more suited towards OLB than DE anyway. We already have a collection of sub-250 DE's.

To me I see a guy who has excellent pass rush ability, the speed to play OLB and certainly the size.

He seems like a likely WLB with the pass rush ability, and maybe Mitchell moves to SLB.

                  Im warming up.

Right. Kawika has the strength to be the Sam, and Maybin has the speed/szie to go to WLB. Kawika was OK in pass rush last year, but Maybin can hopefully do much, much more.

I have no question that he will make pass rush plays, we like ot bring the house. Its not for sure that we want him at OLB yet. Im interested to hear the Bills presser.

But he is an instant upgrade over Ellison at OLB, thats a fact. Even as a converted DE.

Maybe he does both. We put LB'ers at DE on pass rushing downs at times.

My issue is his rawness. Not his athleticism or ability to rush the passer. Brown was the safer pick to me but doesn't have as much size.
