Solid player, but don't you think he would have been available later in the draft?

Just wondering....

How many 1st rounders do you think are actually worth tha pick 3 yrs from now???????

If you get half of your draft right you did a SUPER job.....
He is a guy I can see playing 8 yrs from now...
Great pick

I do, but yes, I think hes worthy of a late 1st if he becomes Eric Mangold.

I think its a bit high for me, but if he lives up to his upside, its a very good pickup.

In all honesty, no. We wouldn't have been able to pick him up later on. We kinda shafted the Bengals and Steelers, who I'm guessing would've jumped all over him had he been available.

Steelers wanted him for sure.

Plain and simple, no. Not first round product... I do hope he succeeds, but .....no to a first round pick for us.

disagree

he is the #1 center in the draft for many analyst, and like mentioned above the Steelers would have took him.

Plus he plays with that nastiness we lack

Yes, he wouldn't have made it past the Steelers...they wanted him at the end of the first. That pick was good.

He can start at either Center or Guard, according to several publications.

He can anchor and has a nasty streak. Mack couldn't anchor at all in the Senior Bowl practices.

So far he's looking like the best pick out of our three today.

Maybin is just too one dimensional to waste a #11 on.

Still digesting our 2nd round pick but it sure has me scratching my head.

Byrd was an f'n horrible pick...it just shows the stupidity of this FO.

no argument here.

It's unbelievable that they waste a 2nd rounder on a project...moving from CB to FS. Only this organization can be so stupid.

Russ Lande had him as the #2 center and said he's a late first to early second, so yes, I think we got him in a fair spot. I haven't seen him ranked lower than the 3rd rated center.

I like Wood. He's big and has a nasty streak!
