top guard in the draft - love the pick - got to wait to see what we gave up. Maybe Parrish and a 5th - just a guess?

Levitre is well respected. Highest rated guard in Pro
Football weekly. As long as he's a quality lineman I'm very pleased. I hope we didn't give up too much to get him.

It really is not that bad.

According to the magical draft chart, the 51st pick is worth 390. The top 3rd and top 4th round picks are worth 265 and 112, respectively. If anything, The Bills did well there.

(Yes, the chart is not gospel)

75th pick = 215
110th pick = 74

51st pick = 390

It is not that bad at all. And they got a very good player.

Not for a guy who will not even play this year. They are not getting value in the 2nd....where you should be getting starters and the Bills aren't. I'm very disappointed in this FO's performance in this 2nd round. Now it is highly unlikely to get a TE or LB. Just brutal...again.

Where does he play??? He's likely a backup...you shouldn't be drafting backups in the 2nd...you should be trying to draft starters.

TE?? why is everybody so enamoured with a TE. Notice except for Pettigrew nobody has taken a TE?? Other teams are weak there too. This team needed line help. IF Maybin plays OLB then why draft another LB??

Disagree. This pick makes up for the first pick in round 2 that is questionable.

Basically we got two starting interior lineman (possibly the best at their respective postion) in exchange for Peters (yeah I know, we had to throw in a 3rd, considering how bad our line was it's still a bargain). I can live with it if they live up to the hype.

There are good, pass catching TE's in this draft...Cook, Nelson, Beckum, Ingram...should I continue?

I'm glad they invested in the OL

I'm surprised its 2 interior guys, but there very versatile interior guys. 1 is a C/G and the other is a G/T...

trading up for a high quality G is the kind of commitment to the OL I like seeing....

investing in the OL = playoffs sooner then later... (still not convinced of playoffs this year... Jauron factor)

I said this when they first made the pick, but if this doesn't happen and he is on the bench, this was a very stupid pick. You know what, this pick wasn't bad, but the Byrd pick put them in a position to pay to move up and get the OL they liked. The Byrd pick was stupid.

Why do you think he won't play? Where are you getting that idea?

They need O-lineman. They are drafting O-linemen. That is more important than LB or even TE.

I am not sold on the CB/S. But I love Levitre. He and Wood are their two best picks, by far.

And TE and OLB are VERY important. Do you really want Ellison and Fine as your starters??? Ellison shouldn't even be in the NFL, let alone starting.

Levitre or Butler move outside. Levitre has played RT as well.

Or Hamgartner becomes depth.

I agree Ellison is not a starter (he is OK as depth though).

Problem is this team had too many holes to fill. A guy like Keiaho is available too.
