I keep reading ppl posting about Maybin playing OLB for us... he isn't... Bills FO just said in their PC he will compete at DE and he can play both RDE and LDE... Also they confirmed Wood WILL play G not C.

Lets move on...

I think he is going to be used as a pass rush specialist, and he could very well be used at both OLB and DE.

Ibeleive the Bills will create some ways to get him on the field..

yeah that way will be to glue Kelsay's butt to the bench and start him at LDE. They keyword the Bills dropped in the PC was that he will "compete" at DE. They also said they drafted him that high for a reason.

Maybin is the starter at LDE against the Pats week 1.

Remember what we did with Bruce. We need to do the same with Maybin. Condition, condition, condition. Make this guy big. 260-270, he will be a force. Hes fast, strong, smart, and has good hands. Main issue is weight.

If you listen to his college coaches they said he couldn't play OLB for them. This isn't Madden you can't just put guys at whatever position you want them. The fact is this the Bills FO doesn't understand how to draft.Once again they gave away 2 picks to move up in a round for who was there at 42.I'll say this once and for all when your 7-9 three straight years you have a lot of holes. You don't give up to move up for CB/S in a bad draft. Now no third and we still need a TE and an OLB.

He's confirmed by Jauron as a strict DE as per 6:40 in the Maybin and Wood Reactions video on BB.

Its too bad we didn't have an early 3rd. We could draft a guy like Sidbury out of Richmond and know that we have our DE and our OLB... but that we'd wait til August to figure out which would be where.

So Mahdi...it looks like Sidbury Jr. is still around?? ;) Just messing, I think at one point I almost guaranteed the Bills wouldn't take Maybin.

The same one that has generated 10 turnovers on two monday night games?

That same bull**** defense?

Gimme a break man. When the Giants do it, its heralded as the genius of the coaching staff, but here its b.s.

Unbelievable.

We don't have a 3rd round pick

Yeah, i thought they did. I was wrong though.

I thought they had acquired an extra 3rd last season somewhere.

What sucks is that now, there has to be a move made to get back into the 3rd round to get a LB.

Very frustrating draft...

Wood playing guard is stupid. If that's what they are doing than they wasted a pick.

I would invite people to look at his stats in the big games...Maybin always came up small. Please stop with the Bruce comparisons. Bruce was an Outland trophy winner and had 22 sacks in his junior year, maybin has galaxies to go before they are even mentioned in the same breath.

the kid was a sophmore... he is young and has more upside then any other DE in this draft...

Bruce was a better sophmore, but he also played a junior year before coming out.

We gambled a little with Maybin, but is the Bills find ways to use him and let him get after the QB he will help us

Yeah... i missed on that one... I still think this guy is going to be a stud. Look for a team like Philly to take him and make him a star like they did with Trent Cole.

Yeah yer right how can a mean, tough, mauler type guy move to guard? Cmon man that is exactly what we need at guard that we haven't had in years.
