TE's All Plummeting

Looks as if a lot of teams don't need a TE or some of these guys may have been overrated as 2nd round picks. I tend to think it is that the TE position is deep this year, not a lot of need, and teams are trying to get one as late as possible. I think we should jump up and grab Cook here in the next 5 to 10 picks. That would really complete this draft.

Maybe a project OL like Meredith or Cadogan would really be the icing on the cake.

Maybe it's just me, but I think fans REALLY underestimate the abillity to block in a TE. The only two guys taken in the top two rounds were Pettigrew (a blocking and receiving TE) and Quinn, who is almost entirely a blocking TE. Guys like Nelson, Cook, Casey, etc., just are not in high demand because if you want someone who can catch the ball...just draft a wide receiver!

There is going to be good value in the later rounds still, and I'm excited to see who the Bills pick up.

if a TE can't block he his a liability on the OL IMO..
if you have to teach blocking then that TE is a project

Cook finally came off the board, but there are pretty much every other good receiving TE available now, contrary to what a lot said.. also there are two strong LT options available in merdith and cadogen.

i told Draftboy this was a weak TE class. he disagreed with me. too many of the TE's that came out this year seemed too small to me.
