He's primarily a pass catcher, a "glorified wide receiver" according to Kiper, versus an all-around TE. Perhaps that's why he fell to late fourth round. We'll teach him to block some.

I think every player we drafted probably needs to put on some weight, with the exception of the DB's we selected to play DB. Maybin probably has get get to around 255-260 range. Wood might want to put on 10 to 15 more pounds. Levitre probably the same. Harris needs to get to 240 and they want Nelson to get to 255. They want to max all the guys frames out without affecting their speed. The bigger the better they see it. Or at least as big as you can get without affecting your play. Bills got five potential starters out of this draft and two guys to compete at nickel corner.

He said he weighs 243lbs right now during his interview. Wants to get to 250lbs.

The thing I love most about him is he was a "REAL" TE, none of these spread offense big WR's, even though he is that size.

He understands what it's like to put your hand down and get away from LB's inside.

"a little light in the pants". I can't imagine Maybin's too happy about them saying that. Maybe the Bills brass wants to make sure he doesn't start partying too much by attacking the dude's social life. LOL

He said we wants to get up to 250... I don't know why everyone is knocking his blocking. He is not a horrid blocker, in fact he is quite capable PLUS he said in his media interview that he wants to improve his blocking to become the complete package. It seems like we got a couple o guys who are willing to work and that only benefits the team.
