View Full Version : USA Today gives the Bills an 'A-' for the draft

GRADE: A-

• Buffalo Bills: May have found four eventual starters in first two rounds. Had only 24 sacks last year so DE Aaron Maybin becomes an immediate savior. Lacks bulk at 236 pounds but quick off the edge. Traded back into first round for C Eric Woods, a position of need. CB Jairus Byrd lacks speed but knows how to play. G Andy Levitre is versatile, has played T, but figures more inside as the Bills rebuild their line. How much immediate help any of these players supplies is the open question.

Their sports department leaves something to be desired. I don't mind the rating at all, but they talk out of their asses all the time and never get the facts straight.

I'm going to be reeeally pissed if Maybin doesn't as well as Orakpo in Washington. Washington also has a problem getting to the QB.

And I better see maybin out there a lot, none of this "situational" crap. When you draft someone 11 overall, dude better be on the field 70% of the time

Orakpo will have Haynsworth taking the pressure off, so he will most likely out produce Maybin.

Last time I checked Stroud was pretty good

An A- is very impressive, especially considering they don't seem to know that Jairus Byrd projects as a Free Safety, and they've ignored Shawn Nelson completely.

Seems fair to me.

It might have been an A+ or A had we chosen LT William Beatty over OG Andy Levitre.

Umm, did they even watch the draft? We did not trade back into the 1st for Wood....
