All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
Re: We still need a DT to round out our DT rotation
Green Bay is going to a 3-4 defense this year and have a bunch of DT's.My guess is that 1 or 2 won't fit the new system.Possibly a Ryan Pickett or Cullen Jenkins will be let go, their both more suited for the 4-3.That and the fact that they both make pretty good money.Big cap number and the fact that they may not fit may lead to one or both being released.Just some food for thought.
Re: We still need a DT to round out our DT rotation
Im trying to come up with a seemingly intelligent post to place here about what we should do about the DT position... But I think I'd much rather go take a nap now...

I'm ok with Jason Jefferson and McCargo fighting it out in training camp for the fourth DT spot.
First, we have only 4 D-tackles on the roster curently:
Stroud
Williams
Johnson
McCargo
Usually, when you go into training camp, you have quite a bit more to go through for practice/reps showing and even for injury purposes. We have no one else.
Second, pretending we still had Jason Jefferson, you need to examine why you are ok with just having this group and not looking into bringing in a raw stud to develop...
Every year in the draft, the Bills seem to ignore a position. Last year it was OG/C. This year, it is DT...
Re: We still need a DT to round out our DT rotation
David Lundquist was signed as a UDFA, and Hollis Thomas was just cut from the Saints. I'm wondering if we could bring him in to use as a run stopper, since the guy is 6'0" and 335 pounds.
