View Full Version : We have a reversal...

lordofgun

...after examining the voting in the match between Patrick and myself, and seeing some unfamiliar names pop up in the voting, it appears there was 1 person who voted for me 4 times under different alias'. (And no, it wasn't Dozer :snicker:) It doesn't appear to be a regular user here, and I have no idea who this person really is. I guess maybe someone was testing to see if we really checked to see if multiple votes by the same person would be counted.

This is the only match I have found this to be the case for. All other votes appear to be legit. Someone is screwing with me.

Therefore, I must declare Patrick the winner of our duel. Those 4 votes will be subtracted from my total.
:wail: I also must declare that you people have no sense of humor! Thanks for all who voted for me.

Anyway, congrats Pat! It sucks, but you were the better player.

DNAG YOU FOR GETTING MY HOPES UP, WHOEVER YOU ARE!!!

Patrick76777

Wait a second. Is this legit? I don't want any charity here.

lordofgun
05-16-2003, 09:46 AM
Oh, it's legit. Like I'd give you charity. :shakeno:

this is cheesy. Patrick cried hard enough and Log felt bad so he made up this story.

Twilight Zone sucks. I quit.

Valerie

Why don't you guys have a sudden death rematch?

lordofgun
05-16-2003, 09:47 AM
There once was this poster named Billie
Who had and embarrassingly small willie
which made him so mad
when his girlfriend got sad
and said his weiner looked so damn silly

Patrick76777

I knew I was going to take S#it for this. Can you give details? I may have to turn this down.

Enough Imbondz, I told you he was married. He’s a family man. Don’t be a homewrecker

lordofgun

Seriously, there is one voter who has the same IPs for 4 votes. That measn it's coming from one computer. Maybe this person has 4 family members who voted, but I can't take the win on that basis in good conscience.

I'm up for a 1-limerick sudden-death show-down if you are, Pat! Winner moves on fair and square! What do you say? I'll go first if you want.

Patrick76777
05-16-2003, 09:53 AM
Sounds fairer then giving me the win. If I win something I want to do it on the up and up.

Patrick76777
05-16-2003, 09:53 AM
Or we can just throw it up for a revote

Mr. Miyagi
05-16-2003, 09:53 AM
Wait a minute. If the same voted for LOG 4 times, why do you throw out all 4 votes? You should just count the 4 votes as 1, and in that case it'll be a tie since the vote difference is 3.

Are you kidding me. Log, you can take back my vote too for saying that and give it to SpongePat Crybaby. Now you lost by two votes.

coup d'etat!!!

Mr. Miyagi

I say one limerick sudden death OT.

This shouldn't be a popularity contest.

Well I was going to DQ that person altogether, taking away all 4 votes.

I suppose I could just re-open the voting with it tied at 15 and next vote wins???

Patrick, all you have to fall back on is your ball cheese and a gay schtick, something your so familiar with it's all you know to use when 'insulting'

lordofgun
05-16-2003, 09:57 AM
Or sudden death one-limerick showdown.

It's your call, Pat. You name it, I'll set it up.

What would a LOG game be without controversy. :shakeno:

I say you guys have a 3 round rematch. :D

Patrick76777
05-16-2003, 09:58 AM
That's fine with me. I don’t want to keep harping on it. But if you strongly feel that we there was cheating going on, then I will agree to a 15-15 tie and overtime. But only if you’re certain.

Mr. Miyagi
05-16-2003, 09:58 AM
I still push for a one limerick sudden death OT.

If you do a "next vote wins", it's all down to individual PC connection speed between voters. No fair.

One limerick or OT, Pat?

I kinda like the one-limerick showdown idea. :snicker:

I like the showdown. After all, it WAS my idea. :)

Show-down!
Show-down!

lordofgun

You up for it, Pat?

lordofgun
05-16-2003, 10:03 AM
We could have voting last for 3 hours or so...

I'd even be up for a 2 or 3 limerick showdown. :snicker:

Patrick76777
05-16-2003, 10:04 AM
How long will the polls be open for the 1 limerick idea? I ask because with EE, Dozer, Dazy(if she’s around), Shelby and your boyfriend (Imbondz) you could leave your post blank and I’d be down 5-0 in the blink of an eye. If the voting will be open for awhile, I’ll be cool with it.

So 1 limerick? 2? 3?

lordofgun

I say 3. Let's compromise at 2. :snicker:
