Pair of Dolphins honored in NFL Europe
Dolphins wide receiver Kendall Newson and defensive end Lamanzer Williams earned recognition for their performances in NFL Europe last week.
Newson returned a kickoff 94 yards for a touchdown in Rhein's 34-27 victory over Amsterdam and was named league Special Teams Player of the Week. Newson leads the league with a 33.1-yard average on kickoffs.
Williams, who leads the league in sacks, was named Defensive Player of the Week after he had four sacks during Berlin's 24-14 victory over Barcelona.
