The Devils are fired up and with Brodeur in top form, the psych ops that an experienced, multi-stanley cup winning NJ team has over a relatively inexperienced Ottawa team is kicking in.

Can the Sens bounce back ? I say no.

Did anyone see the post-game interview with Pat Burns last night ? Boy did he look like he was having an Excedrin moment

I don't think you can count them out of it just yet. They are only down one game. Won't take much for them to recover still. There is a good chance they want it bad enough to overcome the psych out.

There are playing the way they are be coached,no emotion. They are done. And why did reddon play last night on a bum ankle ,why is chara playing,he is hurt .He can't hit ,he can barely get the puck out of his end.Bring in some heathy bodies.

Brodeur in TOP form? He made some nice ones last night but he also looked drunk on a couple.

Don't count Ottawa out just yet. They have too much pure talent to just roll over.

Ottawa always rolls over.

Pure talent on paper doesn't mean **** in the playoffs.

I guess a shutout isn't top form ? How about that Cujo, eh ?

Right now I'm sure either team has a chance against the Ducks anyway, as long as Giguere is on this hot streak.

Well, game 7 is a go. See? Have some faith that the Sens aren't the same ones from years past... ;-)

Sorry!

Well, "The other team" in LA Plays "The other team- no not that other team- that other- other team" In New York.

These two aren't even discussed that much in their own markets let alone the country. Last two times the Devils won the cup, they held a victory parade around the Meadowlands parking lot (no lie)

I guess it's for "Shopping Mall" bragging rights.

You know what's really disturbing? I'm listening to one of the largest and most influental Sports radio statiuons in the country for over an hour today- WFAN in New York. Even the New York callers were more interested in talking about Anika Sorenstam than talking about the Devils or the Nets.

Well, duh...who's been getting all the airtime? You don't see clump posting play by play of the Devils or Nets series :D

It's OVER. Without Nieuwendyk too. Time to quiet all the quacking from Anaheim.

Dude, is this the bandwagon you're jumping on this year ?

No, I live in New Jersey, been a Devils fan for as long as I've played hockey and liked it. Had season tickets but instead bought a lesser package because we got tired of wasting money on regular season tickets.

Oh OK, just wondering, cause I remember you being on the Islanders/Carolina bandwagon last year.

WereRat

Well, being in Jersey means that the Islanders are a team to route for if the Devils aren't in it. Unless you are one of the many Islander hating Devils fans, then you route against them, no matter who they play... ;-)

Either way, Jersey natives have a definite pro or con view of the Islanders. There is no in between about that one...

I am what you'd call a Ranger and Flyer hating Devil fan. There isn't really a reason to hate the Islanders. But the Flyers and Rangers, that's a different story. Besides, I hate the Leafs and I enjoyed watching the Isles take the Leafs to the limit last year. Anyway, I have tickets to Game 1 tomorrow of the Cup and if it goes the distance, we have them for 7, so I am hoping for a Devils win and a 7 game series. We could scalp Game 7 tickets for a very good price though:D.
