He was pricey because he's very good.
I'd ather pay a pricey good player to fix our OLB spot, than keep "at least he's cheap" Ellison starting.

I agree (I think most of us do)... I hope that we still have our feelers out there at OLB because Im not satisfied and would be willing to spend (Ralph's) $$$$ on it...

From everything I've read, it was pretty much known around the league that the intent to lift the tag was to sign him to a long term deal.

Really? Wow, that's 2 million more than they offered him the first time around. He's good, but I don't know if he's that good.
Either way, Seattle's got an excellent LB corps.
