After his final home game at the University of Louisville had ended in an inglorious loss to Big East rival West Virginia, senior Eric Wood had one thing in mind.
The fans who stayed at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium deserved a little love for having endured a disappointing defeat at the end of a disappointing season, and Wood, a beloved player who had been a four-year starter at the school, was just the guy to provide it.
