Apologies since I know this has been posted at some point.. But I’m on my “post draft vacation” right now from football, and didn’t catch any of the Bills rookie numbers.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Anybody know any of the jersey numbers the rookies are wearing this season?

My bro works at the Bills store (more cowbell) and he said dont go shelling out money for Maybin's 58 just yet....aparantly he wants to change it before training camp and the team is putting a hold on his jerseys

Once Maybin signs his big deal, he'll be able to buy 59 from Thomas.

According to CB, Maybin may not be able to wear either 58 or 59, depending on his official position. DE's can't wear numbers in the 50's...but if he's listed as an OLB/DE, then he could wear it. Per CB, that's why his number isn't set in stone.

That may be true but Trent Cole wears 58 and is a DE. I read the blurb from CB and mentioned Abraham was grandfathered in but he didn't mention Cole.

Could be the same thing. Cole hasn't been around nearly as long, though. Beats me...

It's like Merriman when he lines up at DE, he's 55 isn't he?

it's the listing that seems to be the issue. Merriman is listed as a LB.

Can Nelson change his number to 11-19? Can TE's not wear 11-19? I know Dallas Clark wears 44, but I can't think of any TE's that wear 11-19 numbers. He would look sweet an 18 Bills jersey. I hate his 89 number.

I'm sure that Maybin is listed as a DE on the Depth chart. Maybe he gets listed as a LB who knows. I bet if he really wants 59, they will find a way to make it happen. Who knows though.

So does Harris not have a number yet? What did he wear during the rookie practices?

i wouldnt like a TE with a low number. WR's I'm fine with, but not TE's.
