If the Bills can convert 3rd and 1 consistently with run, it'll be already a big achievement.

If the Bills can keep Trent on his feet than it will be an accomplishment.

he said wood was from oregon state. nice editor.

good article though. i am very very excited about the prospect of our new line. i really am. trent should definately have a pocket to step up into for the 1st time in his career.

                Good point here.

I think Trent's inability to step up in the pocket has been one of the main reasons he gets sacked a lot. He ends up dropping too far back which makes the angle for the pass rushers much easier to overcome.

Maybe that, combined with his quick release, and elite WRs is what makes the Bills staff feel Walker will be sufficient at LT.

interesting take that the bills FO has on the Oline. i hope it's the right call. i think a bunch of us thought that fowler was the weakest link and the reason that the AFC EAst nose tackles had their way with us.

We're just fans....if they think it required a whole new package of guards and centers, so be it. i just hope the answer wasn't as easy as, get a better center keep the rest of the line untouched.

But Carucci makes a great point in that the bills were very passive as an OL. On short yard situations, you knew they just wouldn't get the push. you never saw them dominate the game at the end like a good to great OL should. Even when they were 5-1. It was coming because of trent throwing it around. That's one skill, but it's great to have a pound it out OL that just gets better as the game wears on. Especially since that's marshawn's style. if he's run ok through the first half, he'll kill you in the second. But our OL never really allowed him to do that regularly.
