Niners waive defensive tackle D'Marco Farr
Receiver Tai Streets and backup safety Ronnie Heard both signed one-year contracts to return to the 49ers on Thursday.
Streets signed his one-year, $1.318 million qualifying offer as a restricted free agent. Heard, whom the 49ers did not give a qualifying offer, is scheduled to earn the $450,000 minimum salary for a three-year veteran.
Both players are expected to attend the 49ers' second three-day minicamp under coach Dennis Erickson, beginning Saturday at the team's practice facility in Santa Clara....
