5-2 defense... Who would be against it?
We could most definately get pressure with 5 lineman.
But with the recent news of a possible pisa signing, this is highly unlikey
I just have my doubts with our bend but not break D.

a 5-2 is really no different than a 4-3 if you're bringing a backer or defensive back every play....

Outside of that fact it's much more difficult to disguise any blitzes in that defense, seeing how many teams have an end who can drop off into coverage effectively?

a 5-2 is a 3-4 just geared toward stopping the run.

this whole 3-4 vs 4-3 thing is getting out of control. most teams run variations of both.
