                    ryan denney alone had a better year than taylor last year, plus taylor is going on 35. Hes a good player, just not nearly what he used to be.

                        why though? as a pass rusher? taylor had fewer sacks than just denney.

                        denney and kelsay are now our run-stopping DE's, and we can bring in maybin when we need speed off the edge. taylor just isnt a great player anymore.

                              His poor performance last year could be explained one of two ways: 1) he's washed up, or 2) he is just that much better as an OLB in the 3-4 than a DE in the 4-3.
