No surprise. Smith has had a drinking problem for years.

Remember his naps at traffic lights in his Bills days ? Happened more than once.

Spoiled athletes who truly feel rules do not pertain to them...a symptom of the under 30 generation really.

You'd think Bruce might be growing out of it, but since he seems to beat the charges everytime, I guess he'll never learn.

I just don't get why these people don't catch a cab. Or with the money they have, a limo for the night. I don't make football player money, but still have the sense to catch a cab if I'm having a drinking night out.

Bruce does like to party. Anyone know why he was suspended in 88? I always assumed it was coke.

Time for this 45 year old man to grow up a little..I suggest he call Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas. Both seemed to have moved beyond their troubles that hindered them in the past...Bruce 's Ego is his man problem...

if he's an alcoholic then this is what happens to alcoholics. Unfortunately think about his percentage of getting away with it to his being caught.

Smith and Thurman have alcohol issues. I do too after watching the Bills for the last 25+ years.

I heard Thurman is sober now.

I've met him once, at an Oklahoma State game and offered him a beer. (I wasn't thinking.)

But, yes he has cleaned up quite nicely.
