According to rotoworld.com, his contract is for 7.5 million over 4 years. That's a pretty dang good deal for the Bills, if it's true.

Great contract for both sides, though he doesn't quite have the tools to be a full-time starter, Fred Jackson is probably amongst top two or three #2 backs in the league and I'm feeling pretty good about him taking over for Lynch for a couple of games.Last edited by MassEffect218435; 05-16-2009, 12:23 AM.Comment

WOW!!!! That's a steal...
I was thinking he would be in the range of $3 million per year (a bit less than what Leon Washington is looking for with the NYJ).
That's significantly less than what Roscoe Parrish is making (and what Robert Royal was making). Jackson is more valuable than both of them, IMO.
