Are you serious? I just read an article on TBD, while surfing the net on my phone. Apparently, Buffalo mayor Byron Brown is giving Terrell Owens a key to the city!  The article is at WGRZ. Are we really that desperate for attention that we are giving a FA who nobody wanted and only signed a freaking 1-year deal, the key to the city??? What a joke! :lmao:

ESPN will have a field day with this.

He hasn't even played a down for the bills and he's already our savior... Byron Brown you are truly a fool.

Maybe TO had to pee as he was walking by the city hall so they gave him a key to the bathroom.

Did guys like Kelly, Thurman, Reed, and Bruce ever receive a key to the city??

It is true, and I don't have a problem with it.

It's just the city's way of saying that we are welcoming him here.

For better or worse, and it will be one or the other-- he's bringing a lot of excitement to Buffalo.

Oh yeah, it is an election year for Byron. Forgot about that.

I'd vote for Det. Delano if he ran. Even Larry Norton could do a better job than Brown has done this term.

I guarentee that this whole key to the City thing is all apart of the deal that brought TO to Buffalo.

They knew he had a TV show and things like the key to the city will grab attention getting headlines and bring in the viewership.

Of course its a huge joke to give the key to the city to a person who has never done a dman thing for the city... so what other reason could there be for doing so accept TV coverage... like they said any publicity is good publicity, and Buffalo is getting publicity

Way too early for this.

Unless it comes with a "don't bash the city of Buffalo and its people on your stupid, attention-whore reality show" clause.

Byron Brown wants to be on VH1.

I work down the street on Elmwood, less than 2 minutes away. I'll probably drive over when I get out at 4 to see if I can see anything.

Brown tried to be funny and said the key would only continue to work if TO scores 10 TD's and the Bills make the playoffs.
