For the better part of the last four seasons Lee Evans has seen much of the same coverage during the regular season. Whether it’s a safety rolled over the top or bracket coverage designed to hem the deep threat in, Evans has been the focus of attention for opposing defenses in the passing game. Following the addition of Terrell Owens that’s all about to change.

“They’re going to try and stop Marshawn (Lynch) in the run game and they’re going to try and stop Terrell and Lee on the outside and you can’t really do both, so it’s my job when we do throw the ball to get those guys an accurate football and when we are running the football, it’s get us in the right run play and allow Marshawn to run the football,” said Edwards.Originally posted by notaconThe biggest thing we learned from the Bills is that they are a resilient bunch and did what they had to do to win instead of past years where they fold like a cheap lawn chair.

The player on offense I want to see most this year is Evans, to finally see what he can do when he's not the sole receiving threat on the offense."It is better to be divided by truth than to be united by error." -- Martin Luther

Re: Evans eager to see Owens effect
We better hope TO is actually productive and doesn't play like a 35 year old WR if anyone expects pressure to be taken off of Evans.
I can see teams at first giving TO some attention but if he has lost a step and a Safety can effectively guard him, Evans will continue to be double teamed.
