Lynch had Edwards --- Jones had Favre.

Lynch had Bills OL --- Jones had Jets OL


How many trips to the Goal line did Jones get versus Lynch? Probably a ton more. While we routinely settled for 30 yard field goals.

Jones also had the benefit of defenses concern over the Jets pass game. That concern did not exist against Buffalo.

Simply looking at their skills and running ability, Lynch is way more talented. Jones is a solid RB but doesn't have the finesse Lynch has. Lynch can juke you, and make very quick cuts and make guys miss. Jones is just about power running.

Jones is a freaking joke and you will all see that this year.

How about averaging the players last 2 years? Lynch eats Jones for lunch.

And Tom Brady obviously has his rating transfer over from 07. Cuz in 08 he did nothing.

at this point in their careers.. yeah.. willis is better..

willis will probably be the best LB in football this year.. he has improved significantly from his rookie year to last year (even though he was a beast as a rookie).

he is as good as it gets right now and he is young and improving.

Ray Lewis isn't even a top 10 LB anymore. There are several LBs better than Lewis, not just Patrick Willis.

PW IS that good btw, easily the best Niner we have. Search youtube for the int reception return for a TD against the Seahawks. Watch the moves he made or the speed he had to outrun the entire team. Or how he stopped Adrian Peterson for 3 yards on 11 carries single-handedly. Or his come-from-behind tackle of a WR being 5-10 yards back to save a game. Etc.

And he's being taught how to get better everyday by a Hall of Fame linebacker.

Willis has a good 10-12 years left. barring major injury, he could possibly be a first ballot HOFer.
