per rotoworld.com

"Bills CB Terrence McGee left Wednesday's practice with what appeared to be a shoulder injury.

McGee was battling Terrell Owens for a pass and two players apparently got "tangled up," with Owens falling on top of McGee. We should have an update on McGee's condition later in the day."

Hopefully it's not too bad....

it's still 3 1/2 months til the season starts. I've never heard of a shoulder injury that requires that much recovery time- except maybe a rotator cuff injury, which is rare.

Right on OP, if its a rotator cuff, were screwed, otherwise were good. He has a long time to heal and it just means more reps for the new guys.

I love TMac and him being out would be a big loss, but good thing it wasn't the other way around and TO was the one hurt.

thought the exact same thing. i have the worst feeling that TO is going to be injured before he even gets onto the field.

I think that TO is one of the lesser likely guys to get injured simply due to his peak physical status and his exerience - hes not fighting for a spot and doesnt need to take unecessary preseason risks to his body.

Now off to find some wood to knock on...

Buffalo Bills (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=buf) left cornerback Terrence McGee (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4569) suffered a shoulder injury (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4209750) while trying to defend Terrell Owens (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1056) on a pass play during Wednesday's practice.
McGee's injury isn't believed to be serious, according to a team source.
"It was just a competitive play, and he did what he was trying to do," Owens said. "He was trying to break it up, and I was trying to make a play on it."
McGee is the most reliable coverage cornerback at a position filled with youngsters. The seventh-year pro missed two games last year with a sprained knee.
Sophomore corner Leodis McKelvin (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11245), the 11th overall draft pick last year, missed practice with a hand issue. Ashton Youboty (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9656) remains sidelined with plantar fasciitis and might not be back on the field until training camp. That has cleared way for another second-year cornerback, Reggie Corner (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11348), to get reps as the nickel back.
In other Bills news, they might have caught a break (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4209179) when the New England Patriots (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=nwe) signed linebacker Paris Lenon (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4243). That likely means the Patriots no longer are interested in linebacker Pisa Tinoisamoa (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=4501), to whom the Bills reportedly have offered a contract.
As NFC North warden Kevin Seifert points out, Tinoisamoa's choices are down to the Bills and (http://myespn.go.com/blogs/nfcnorth/0-11-106/Chicago-or-Buffalo-for-Tinoisamoa-.html)Chicago Bears (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/clubhouse?team=chi), with a decision expected soon.
