All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
“You hold a players only meeting and get each guy to stand up and say what he can bring to the table... and if he doesn't, you punch him in the face.” ~~ Harry Neale, on how to fix the Sabres season.
A family member of mine is on a suspended license and is technically only allowed to drive to work and back. Yet, he's never at his home....
I've probably put up 100,000 miles of unlicensed driving. Me and the DMV just can't see eye to eye. So I just agree to disagree and drive the speed limit. I haven't been pulled over in 5 years.
Op, Is this speculation that he still is not supposed to drive or fact?
Marshawn or my family member?
I know for a fact that my family member isn't supposed to drive unless it's for work.
As far as Marshawn, I thought he lost his license for a year and he would still be within that timeframe, but I could be wrong. I'm too lazy to look it up.

Rather than continuinjg to speculate on this, I did a quick search. I couldnt find the amount of time that his liscense was revoked, but continued to see 'temporarily', which seems like less than a year. Eventually I found evidence that he DOES have his licence as he successfully appealed an attempt to re-revoke his license on the latest charges, which would indicate he had received his license again:
"...
A judge ordered Lynch's driver's license revoked but the player appealed and was allowed to keep his license."

It wouldn't surprise me if a 1/4 of the people you see out there behind the wheel on a daily basis are licensed to drive.
Plus driving on a suspended license isn't like a huge criminal offense anyways and as long as you can get it cleared up by whatever court date they set for you, it turns into a parking ticket and a fine.

At least here it does, dunno about elsewhere.
I agree that driving on a suspended license is not a big deal.
My only problem, assuming Lynch's license is still suspended, is that getting caught could get him another suspension from the NFL.
