All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done. Afterwards, you may need to do a web search for the site, as old links will not work, because the site is getting a new IP address. Please be patient. If there are bugs, we will tackle them one at a time. Remember the goal is to be up and running with no glitches by camp. Doing this now assures us of that, because it gives us all summer to get our ducks in a row. Thank you!
There is work to be done and things to be learned. We are going to try to get the old look back - or something close to it. We also know there are bugs. A thread will be started to report bugs and then we can pass those onto the host.
Thank you for all the patience and support with this - hopefully this will greatly reduce the crashes and other site issues we have had lately.
Please use this thread to report any issues you come across

Pisa Tinoisamoa-LB- Rams May. 27 - 4:58 pm et
Free agent LB Pisa Tinoisamoa is expected to decide between the Bears and Bills.
Buffalo has a bigger need on the weak side, but Tinoisamoa is more familiar with the coaches in Chicago. He's probably going to take a one-year deal.

A 1 year deal is a gamble by any player in any scenario... Injuries happen often... Many are career threatening.
The only reason PT would accept a 1 year deal from the Bears is that's all the Bills offered and it P'd him off!
It's pretty simple why he would sign a one year deal, he wants more money long term. He's prolly looking for 5 mil a year and wasn't going to get it this offseason. Problem with this report in general it was written by a bears beat writer, has homeresque written all over it.
He might only want a one year deal so he can be a UFA next year when signing season starts and he can get more money. It might not just be what the offers are.
I'd think he'd rather have a 1-year deal. He'd be better off hitting the FA market as soon as it opens rather than after the draft when most teams have their rosters pretty much set. There's no security in NFL contracts anyway.

At the risk of repeating myself... He'd be taking a huge risk signing a 1 year deal if he has a multi year on the table.
Why is it a huge risk? Contracts are not guaranteed. And it is not like he is going to get a big deal with a big signing bonus. At most he would get a 2-3 year deal with a modest bonus.
If he takes the one year deal and gets hurt, he won't get another deal. If he takes a 3 year deal with a one million dollar bonus (a very best case scenario) and gets hurt, he gets axed in the offseason.
If he takes the one year deal and does not get hurt, he likely can get a 4 year deal or so, with maybe 4 million guaranteed.
