Jansen had a hell of a career.I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?"
"Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet.
You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times."
It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach.
He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

What sucks about Mike Williams is that if he gets in shape he is a very good player.
Imagine if Mike Williams actually turns it around, you will have Jason Peters and LT for Philly and Mike Williams at RT for the Redskins.
Hopefully Walker and Butler play well for us then it wont matter how good Peters or Williams do.Comment

How is Mike Williams a very good player if he gets in shape? HE HAS NEVER BEEN ANYWHERE NEAR A GOOD PLAYER IN HIS ENTIRE CAREER AS A PRO?Comment

Skins fans. I'm giving them all kinds of crap now.
The chances of Mike Williams getting into shape are slim to none. The Bills gave him 4 years or so and he never pulled it off, and now he's been out of the league for several years. The guy's a fat piece of trash. And even if he turns it around now, I won't hold his release against the Bills' FO. It would have been an $8 million salary on the books on the hopes that the guy would turn it around- that's just plain stupid. The FO made the wrong decision to draft him but the right decision to cut him when they did.
Peters on the other hand... I have a feeling we'll be regretting that one for a LONG time.Comment

- All: The new Billszone site with the updated software is scheduled to be turned on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. The company that built it, Dynascale, estimates a FOUR HOUR shut down, from 8pm Pacific, (5pm Eastern) while they get it up and running. Nobody will be able to post in any forum until they are done.
