Training Camp Trade For A LB, Using Roscoe As Bait

Some team will have some good competition at OLB this summer. I'll take the loser and give them Roscoe, who makes a good buck here but cannot get on the field for anything more than punt returns. Seems pissed he was shopped to begin with.

Pisa Neverheardofhim was not the last chance before opening day. Wouldn't be surprised at all if the Bills are still actively shopping Parrish & others for help.

I think your more likely to see a training camp cut get signed as our new OLB.

Id probably wait until the TC cuts come, your likely to have a better choice of players at that point than now when teams are trying to fill rosters for TC.

It's true that the Bills have too many WRs, and unless James Hardy gets put on the PUP list (and I'm not sure he's eligible) Parrish is likely to be a victim of numbers. Could the Bills trade him for some team's backup linebacker? I suppose it's possible, but I have a suspicion that the Bills don't think there is as much of a deficiency at the outside linebacker spot as most fans think. It's true that Ellison is not very good, but with Bowen and Harris, I think the Bills believe there will be a healthy competition and someone will step up.

If Parrish is traded, I think the Bills will be more likely to get a draft pick than a player.

I've made up my mind. Don't confuse me with the facts.

I'm the most reasonable poster here. If you don't agree, I'll be forced to have a hissy fit.

Not going to happen. I hope Merriman gets cut from the Chargers and the Bills get him.

so you expect a good linebacker to get cut or traded at the end of training camp and come in and make an impact the next day?

if the starting linebacker is not on the roster before training camp we are in even more trouble than i thought.

I wouldn't miss Roscoe if he was traded.

It's all over with. The Bills will stick with Ellison, Thomas, Bowen and Harris to fight it out.

Barring injuries, our LB's on the 53 will be...

              Mitchell
              Poz
              Bowen
              DiGi
              Ellison
              Harris
              (Thomas)

Also barring injuries, our final WR's will be...

              Evans
              Owens
              Reed
              Hardy
              Johnson
              Parrish
              (Jenkins)

Bills will now consider a 3rd or better for Parrish.

i'd rather see the Bills get a draft pick rather than somebody elses garbage.

I hate Ellison but lets not get ahead of ourselves. I think if Ellison/Bowen/Harris are the weak Cog in our Defense I think we can get through that. This is contingent on DE stepping up with a healthy Schobel, and Maybin.

I like Roscoe and think he is under utilized. That being stated, you're nuts if you think any team would give up a third for him.
